Approval needed means that the idea has not been approved of by the upper management.
In the context of software development, and approval order is a list of criteria that need to be met before moving on to another phase in the project. In order for the next phase to start, all tasks from the previous phase have been completed and approved by a person who has the authority to approve them.
It is imperative to please initiate a procedure for approval of any changes made to the plan. If by chance, adjustments come up, they will need to be discussed with your team and I am happy to lend my input.
