As by 2021, Verizon Fios was only available in only nine state:Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Maryland,Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island,Virginia and Washington DC.  In other words, unless you are in these areas, you wont be able to enjoy Nickelodeon on Fios. According to information given on Verizon’s official website, the tech giant has no plans to extend its services outside the areas already covered.Besides watching shows on Nickelodeon on Fios, Verizon Fios subscribers are now able to play popular games like Sponge bob video game while watching other Nickelodeon programs. One will however have to subscribe to both Verizon Fios TV and internet services to access these games.

Are there Subscriptions and Plans to pay for?

We know the question ringing in your mind right now is “ Can I really afford this?” Yes you can. You see, unlike most satellite and cable television services,Fios doesn’t have any  broadcast or service fee , however, you will have to purchase a TV plan besides a TV set up kit.

There are three plans to choose

Your Fios TV- This is the most basic plan and the only plan that can be customized. With this plan, you get the major broadcast networks, and you get to personalize your TV package by choosing 5 channels out of your choice( of which Nickelodeon is one) Verizon will then suggest a package based o your selection. If you choose to have the customized plan, you’ll have to pay an extra : $12 for 50 hours of DVR storage OR $30 for 200 hours of DVR storage.

The two other plans are the More and Most Fios TV plans in which you are able to watch all the channels. These two plans do not have a customization option, but this is made up for by the fact that you’ll have access to 300 and 425 TV channels.

Is watching Nickelodeon on Fios worth it?

So, will you be better suited watching Nickelodeon on Satellite TV, cable, Direct stream or Fios? To answer this, it is important to mention that Fios isn’t just any other cable network. No. It is more advanced than that as it uses pure fibre optic cables which make cable networks look like something from the stone ages. Besides that, it gives you power to chose what to watch and not what to and this places it a step ahead of most of its competitors.

Of course, are backsides to it, the major one being that it is only available in certain region. That really limits when and where you can enjoy your Nickelodeon shows. The second drawback is that you ll have to rent Verizon’s router regardless of the plan you chose to purchase. This of course makes you spend more than you might’ve spent buying other types of TV service providers: satellite or cable.

Conclusion

In winding up, will you better enjoy Nickelodeon on Fios, Satellite or Direct stream TV? We will let you be the judge of that.
